The Kerfab Mud Batter Bucket is designed to last the life of the excavator. Mud Buckets are perfect for bulk loading, ditch cleaning, low density material digging, and general clean up. Quality ensures longevity, which is guaranteed with our Mud Batter Bucket. Our expert engineers are attentive to detail which is why these buckets feature full weld penetration. As a result, this establishes the strongest and most long-lasting method of securing the lip to the bucket. All of our welds meet the Australian standard AS1554.1 for guaranteed strength.
This bucket is designed with many productivity boosting features. To ensure there is an even digging force throughout the bucket, a heavy duty torsion beam is included. Hooked into the torsion beam are low profile ear brackets, to give exceptional breakout force.
Bisalloy 400 rear wear strips run horizontal across the underside and rear of the shell to further strengthen the bucket. In addition, to prevent any deformation in the bucket, all Kerfab Mud Batter Buckets over 2.4 meters wide have a centre stiffener. As a standard, this bucket has 780 grade high tensile steel lip and sidebars to withstand dynamic twisting forces.
Dual Radius Profile
The distinctive dual radius profile massively improves cycle times and bucket fill. This design enables greater efficiency as operators can get more material, more often. The Dual Radius Profile eliminates any drag from the bucket which allows it to move more efficiently through the earth, saving time and money. The design also increases the life of the bucket by preventing wear on the rear of the bucket – a common problem with single radius buckets
Although there is a standard available for excavators from 1.5 to 35 ton, Kerfab’s range of Mud Batter Buckets are available in many widths, capacities and machine sizes.
For pulling batters and trimming, we recommend the Screed Batter Bucket design due to its patented screed design.
