Kerfab Sieve Buckets are distinctively designed compared to traditional excavator sieve buckets. These buckets were developed from trials and operator feedback from various projects in Northern Western Australia. With the Sieve Buckets, demolition, digging rocks, clean ups and other sorting applications can be done efficiently. This innovative design is far stronger, sifts material faster, and is more impervious to wear than any other bucket in its class.
The Sieve Buckets use thick, high tensile round bar recessed deep into the torsion beam, lip, and cross brackings. In addition, the horizontal sieve bars and bucket frame are integrated with 450 Grade materials. Advantageously, this limits cracking and protects the weld while abrasive materials flow through. Also included to further strengthen and protect the sieve bucket, are horizontal wear strips engineered with Hardox 450.
Similarly to the excavator pins, the round sieve bars are a single piece of solid 4140 pin material made from the same extremely hard and high tensile material. As a result the round bar is far stronger than a traditional two piece plate design which has the tendency to crack along the join weld seam. The round bars enable more material to pass through the apertures a lot quicker and with greater ease than the longer, deeper gaps of the plate design.
With custom solutions available including aperture size and weld on lip shrouds, Kerfab Sieve Buckets are assured to meet your requirements. They are available in various widths, capacities and machine sizes and come with either a bolt on cutting edge or teeth.
