Agility and Efficiency Combined
Rear fixed bucket section is the perfect tool for back blading and levelling.
Efficient Material Contro
Pivoting jaw in the middle allows you to control how much material is emptied by opening at different widths.
Hydraulic rams and connecting
Hydraulic rams and connecting pins on either side at the rear of the bucket are well protected.

Right bucket for the job
The type of wheel loader bucket you need will be based on your requirements and the density of the material you are handling. If you’re handling waste, check out our WastePro range of buckets here. These buckets are specially designed to optimise productivity when moving large amounts of waste.
General Purpose Bucket
- We manufacture two types of General Purpose Buckets. The standard and more common design is the Heavy Duty GP Bucket, due to its multipurpose use.
- Built to handle loose material and aggregate such as fertiliser, rubble, dry sand, silage, manure and other materials under 1600kg/m3 density.
- Aside from routine tasks, this attachment can also be used for general clean up applications.
- The GP Bucket is more durable than a light materials bucket and can withstand harsher applications and material, but it has a smaller capacity.
- Our other style is the Compact Loader GP Bucket and is essentially a smaller version of the Heavy Duty design. This attachment is ideal as a trailer bucket for handling sand, soil and stone.
Rehandling Bucket
- The Rehandling bucket is renowned for its versatility and longevity.
- It is the perfect fit for handling, stockpiling, and loading materials between a density of 1200kg – 2200kg/m3.
- Optimised for applications requiring moderate break-out force.Tasks such as picking up and transporting bulk loads of waste and recycling refuse can be done with ease.
- The Rehandling Bucket achieves the highest possible machine performance in both short cycle and load and carry application.
Light Materials Bucket
- The Light Materials Bucket is available in light duty or medium duty.
- The Light Duty build is used to handle very low density materials like wood chips, dry peat, sawdust, flour, oats and any other materials under 500kg/m3.
- Due to the light material being handled, this bucket is constructed from lighter steel which allows for a larger bucket with a greater capacity.
- If you are looking for a bucket capable of handling harsher materials while still being able to move large volumes of material, than the Medium Duty design is for you.
- Any material with a density more than 500kg/m3 and up to 1000kg/m3 such as compost, wheat or ashes can be handled efficiently.
Details matter
When you’re looking to buy a wheel loader bucket, details matter, there are many things to consider. The first being what machine it is going on. Operating weight, lifting capacity, width and hitch type are critical specifications to help determine which bucket is best suited to your machine.
Next you need to look at the heaviest material density that you will be handling. Environmental conditions should also be considered as a material may have a different density and weight depending on moisture levels.
Bucket Options & Extras
Longevity and productivity are key to conducting a successful operation. Depending on your application and the type of material being handled, various options may be required to further protect and strengthen your bucket. If you’re not sure which option may best enhance your bucket, reach out to our team for advice.

Spill Guards
1. Cutting Edges
- These come in bolt-on or weld-on configurations. Depending on your application and the type of material you are handling will determine which type is best. Bolt-on is preferred in applications where heavy wear is expected as it can be easily replaced. Weld -on is more commonly used when handling lighter materials where minimum wear is expected.
2. Side Wear Plates
- Made from GR350 Steel, side wear plates are useful when handling abrasive material. It helps prolong the life of the bucket by protecting the bucket skin, enabling you to get more out of the bucket reducing the risk of extensive damage. It is important to note that these wear plates will add weight to the bucket.
3. Teeth
- Having teeth on the base edge of your bucket is ideal for digging compacted material. They significantly increase the penetration capabilities and break out force of the bucket allowing you to be more efficient.
4. Base Lip
- There are two different types of base lips, these being straight or spade nose. The most common of the two is the straight lip as it allows for good dumping clearance. If you need increased penetration and less breakout force and dumping clearance, than the spade nose is the best style for your application. The spade nose is particularly useful when handling stone.
5. Spill Guards
- Spill Guards come in various configurations. They can be a “V” style which extends across the middle part of the bucket between the hitch brackets or stretch across the entire width of the bucket. Spill guards stop material from spilling onto the loader arms and hitch, eliminating the risk of clogging up the rams bushes. Larger guards incorporate slots for increased visibility and safety.
6. Heel Plates
- Heel plates give another layer of protection to the underside of the bucket from wear. We use BIS 400 steel plate which is abrasion- resistant and has the ability to withstand high impact and medium level abrasion applications. These are especially useful when operating in tough environments such as a quarry.
7. Coatings
- Our wheel loader buckets come standard with enamel paint in various colours. However, we also offer the option of high resistant coatings for corrosive applications like handling fertiliser. This coating helps protect the bucket skin from wearing away.
