The ability to quickly and safely lift, move, and stack bales is essential on many farms in Australia. Kerfab has been working with Aussie farmers for over 30 years to build Australia’s best Telehandler Bale Fork.
Kerfab’s philosophy for our Hay Forks is that you shouldn’t have to think about them, they should just work when you need them to. If you have ever found yourself fussing with bolt on extensions or disconnecting pallet fork tines from your bale fork, then you’ll know how frustrating what should be a simple attachment has become.
The built in skid gussets allow your Telehandler Bale Fork to stand by itself safely until you need it. Its 36mm Conus II tines won’t bend in even the densest bales. The 4-9mm thick steel frame won’t warp and twist when you lift a full load. If you need an extension then a simple sliding frame can be operated hydraulically or manually.
The size, weight, and amount of bales you handle will help determine what telehandler bale fork best suits you. If you are only ever handling one bale at a time, then a standard tractor bale fork will often do the job.
An 1800mm fork will confidently handle 2 bales and can move 3 bales safely, though a 2100mm-2400mm high fork is usually better if you’re regularly moving 3-4 bales at a time. Where you use the fork is also important, taller forks require more awareness when operating as operators can accidentally clip gutters, sheds, and other objects.
Kerfab supplies Telehandler Bale Forks in 4 and 5 tine configurations. The denser your bales, the more tines you’ll need to ensure the bale doesn’t fall apart under its own weight.
