Silage Bucket Grapples

Purpose-built for handling silage, Kerfab’s range of Silage Bucket Grapples are designed to efficiently move maize, grass, bales and other similar commodities. The entire process of scooping, transporting and unloading silage can be completed with the same attachment, enabling you to streamline your operations.  

Our Silage Bucket Grapples have two key components, making them a must-have on any farm. A high-capacity bucket that can scoop up large amounts of material in one go, combined with the built-in grapple arms to provide added stability and control when moving the load, is what makes this attachment increase your productivity.  

Types of Silage Bucket Grapples

We design and manufacture two styles, the Standard Silage Bucket Grapple and theHigh Pivot Silage Bucket Grapple. Both offer great versatility and can be used in a range of applications including loading and unloading silage, maneuvering heavy loads into storage and scooping precision amounts of silage from piles.

Standard Silage Bucket Grapple

Side Wear edges

Side edges welded onto the front of the bucket provide increased force for cutting through dense silage.  

Manufactured from high-quality GR350 steel, this bucket grapple can withstand constant use without bending or breaking

Conus 1 curved tines allow you to pierce through dense silage easily and with precision.

High Pivot Silage Bucket Grapple

High pivot arms

High pivot arms can grab round bales and hold them in the bucket more easily than the standard silage bucket grapple.

Mesh backing enables you to handle larger amounts of material by stopping any
overflowing behind the bucket.

Side cutting edge provides greater force when digging into dense silage piles. 

Shorter and thicker 20mm tines make this attachment ideal for handling larger objects without bending or breaking.

  • Available with 3, 4 or 5 tines based on the weight and size of your bales.
  • Has the option of a curved top frame for greater stability when handling multiple bales.
  • Optional Adjustable back frame ranging in heights from 1500mm to 2400mm.

Larger Size

  • Best suited to larger ag loaders and tractors
  • Has a greater capacity than the standard size and can carry up to two extra bales.
  • Various back frame heights from 1800mm to 3000mm.
  • Available with 2, 3, 4 or 5 tines depending on your requirements.
  • Depending on your application additional tines can be added to the top frame for extra security.
