Description
Moving silage efficiently in the pit requires control during both transport and placement. Dropping material unevenly or needing separate passes to spread and compact slows down the process and affects consistency across the stack. A silage buck rake allows operators to carry, place, and compact silage in one continuous workflow.
The Kerfab Heavy Duty Silage Buck Rake combines a high-capacity tine layout with a hydraulic push-off system, allowing silage to be layered evenly before being compacted using the same machine. Side tines improve material retention during transport, while the mesh backing maintains visibility and helps contain the load. With widths from 2700 mm to 3000 mm and high-capacity configurations, it supports efficient silage pit operations.
