Scrub Grapple

Sturdy, reliable and designed to save time, a Kerfab Scrub Grapple is the perfect attachment for various industries including agriculture, forestry, demolition and waste management. We manufacture two Scrub Grapple designs, the Short Tine and Heavy Duty. Depending on your requirements and the material density you’re handling, will determine which of our two styles is best suited.

With interlocking tines on the Short Tine Scrub Grapple, provides a strong and secure grip while lifting and moving materials. Available in both manual and hydraulic configurations, the grapple arm has reinforced pivot points with GR350 steel plates for increased strength and durability.  

The Heavy Duty Scrub Grapple is ideal where the lighter duty Short Tine Grapple may struggle or not be able to sustain damage from rocks, concrete, heavy timber, and other hard materials. Tines fabricated from hardened steel combined with two GR350 grapple beaks, this attachment can withstand the harshest environments.  

The Scrub Grapples are best suited to larger machines like telehandlers, wheel loaders and tractors. For smaller machines, we also manufacture Skid Steer Grapples.

Compatibility
The Short Tine Grapple is compatible with Tractor and Telehandlers. Due to its greater weight the Heavy Duty style is best suited to Wheel Loaders. Most hitch types can be fitted to both designs.

Short Tine

High Strength Grapple

Beak Grapple is manufactured from 12mm to 20mm thick GR350 steel for guaranteed strength. 

Two 33mm Bright Steel Cross Bars on the bottom tines provide extra power when digging through large amounts of scrub.

The bottom tines are made from 16mm – 25mm GR350 steel.

Heavy Duty

Ideal for tough environments

The tips of all bottom tines are fitted with abrasion-resistant Bisalloy 450 steel plates, increasing the grapples’ serviceability. 

Across the bottom tines is a 39mm thick diameter bar, further increasing its strength. Larger sizes have multiple bars.

Comes fitted with GR350 high strength 36mm thick steel tines. 

Hydraulically operated pivot system is well protected and heavy duty to ensure longevity.

Standard Size

  • Available with 3, 4 or 5 tines based on the weight and size of your bales.
  • Has the option of a curved top frame for greater stability when handling multiple bales.
  • Optional Adjustable back frame ranging in heights from 1500mm to 2400mm.

Larger Size

  • Best suited to larger ag loaders and tractors
  • Has a greater capacity than the standard size and can carry up to two extra bales.
  • Various back frame heights from 1800mm to 3000mm.
  • Available with 2, 3, 4 or 5 tines depending on your requirements.
  • Depending on your application additional tines can be added to the top frame for extra security.
