Cotton Bale Fork

Cotton Bale Fork

Having complete control of your cotton bales while handling them is crucial to avoiding damage and wastage. A well-engineered and quality-built attachment on the front of your machine will help prevent this. Our Cotton Bale Fork is your ideal solution for transporting, loading and unloading cotton modules safely.

Its tines are specifically designed to smoothly glide through the flat section of cotton bales without harming the bale and preventing any damage to the wrapping. The top tines and the two outer bottom tines have a thick diameter of 60mm to evenly balance the bale weight.

The bottom middle tine is slightly thicker at 75mm for extra strength and durability. Their design enables you to pierce through a gap in the bale instead of pushing cotton out, maintaining its structure.

Cotton Bale Fork – 3 Tine vs 5 Tine

The three-tine style features 3 quality steel tines across the bottom half of the back frame. This design is recommended for lifting the most dense modules, as the five-tine style tends to push the cotton out.

However, for less compact bales, the five-tine configuration is ideal for providing extra stability by preventing the bale from spinning on the tines while being moved.

If you’re unsure which design best suits your application, contact our sales team today by calling 1800 818 079 or email sales@kerfab.com. Alternatively, you can submit your enquiry here.

standards-svgrepo-com
Safe and efficient
The Cotton Bale Fork tines are designed to spike though without pushing cotton out, making the process of lifting and loading bales a much safer task, by keeping it in place without slipping or spinning.

Tine configurations
We manufacture the conventional 3 tine design as well as the more beneficial 5 tine style. Both have a back frame height of 1.05m which allows for clear vision of the bale during piercing and lifting. However, the 5 tine design results in less stretching and plucking than the 3 tine.
icon weight-svgrepo-com
Varying weights
Weights of the two designs vary slightly, which is important to consider when deciding which style is best suited to your machine and application. The team at Kerfab can help advise you on which design is most beneficial for you.
