About us
Kerfab started over 30 years ago as a small business, in a small shed, in a small town in regional Victoria. We never left our hometown of Kerang but we didn’t stay small. As our founders built a reputation for making excellent attachments and delivering brilliant service, our customers asked us to build a growing range of attachments. What started as the two founders of Kerang Fabrications building a loader arm for a local farmers tractor has become Kerfab, Australia’s number one manufacturer of innovative, fit-for-purpose attachments. We still love working with farmers and machinery operators all over Australia but our customer base has grown with us to include multinational giants like Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, JCB, Manitou, Claas, and more.

Our capability
Part of what sets Kerfab apart is our ability to manage the entire process of supplying an attachment in-house. From an initial chat about what you need your machine to do, through design, manufacture, and delivery – Kerfab manages the entire process to ensure you get the attachment that gets the most out of your machine and you get it on time.
Working with OEMs worldwide
Our engineers regularly work with OEMs all over the world to ensure our extensive machine database is up to date. Kerfab sometimes use a 3D scanner to create a detailed and accurate drawing of components should one not exist. After 30 years we’ve seen most things and often have multiple examples to draw on where we’ve done the same things, every now and then we get a truly unique request which our engineering team love the challenge of building something nobody has ever done before.

We’re not a big company, and we like it that way. This allows us to develop strong relationships with our customer base by paying close attention to their needs. Our roots are in manufacturing, which has made us experts at employing the latest design and manufacturing technology to produce quality equipment to meet today’s market needs. This means we have the experience and skill to undertake bespoke designs to overcome any materials handling problem you may have.
