Fixed Lifting Jib

Fixed lifting jib for controlled and consistent load lifting

Lifting heavy or awkward loads requires a secure connection point and consistent control during placement. Fixed lifting jib attachments are suited to tasks where reach does not need to change and a stable lifting position is preferred.

The Kerfab Fixed Lifting Jib provides a rigid lifting point for handling suspended loads such as structural steel, plant, and equipment. With a fixed length design, the lifting position remains consistent across repeated tasks, while the rated swivel hook allows loads to rotate during placement. Built from high tensile steel and available in multiple capacity options, it supports controlled lifting across a range of site applications.

Kerfab also manufactures an extendable lifting jib and telehandler lifting jib.

Performance Benefits

icon safety-supervision-svgrepo-com
Handles heavier lifting tasks
Lifting structural steel, plant, or equipment requires capacity you can rely on. With options up to 5000 kg, the jib supports these heavier loads without pushing into unsafe manual handling.
Icon- ticks
Access beyond fork limitations
Standard forks can’t always reach where the load sits. The jib extends your working range forward, making it easier to lift from behind obstacles or out of tight positions.
Icon - Visibility
Greater control when positioning loads
The swivel hook allows the load to rotate as it’s lifted. Operators can align items mid-air rather than repositioning them on the ground.
icon tools-solid-svgrepo-com
Straightforward to operate on site
No hydraulics, no extension setup—just a fixed lifting point ready to use. This keeps operation simple, especially for repeat lifting tasks.

Consistent results across repeated lifts
When the boom length doesn’t change, neither does your lifting position. That consistency helps when placing similar loads throughout the day.

Fixed boom structure

The jib uses a rigid boom with no extension. This keeps the lifting point consistent across every lift.

High tensile steel construction

Manufactured from high tensile steel to handle a wide range of loads. The structure supports strength under lifting conditions.

Rated swivel hook

A quality rated swivel hook is fitted to the jib. This allows the load to rotate during lifting and positioning.

FAQ

What is a fixed lifting jib used for?
A fixed lifting jib is used to lift and move suspended loads that exceed safe manual handling limits. It is commonly used for structural steel, plant, equipment, and other bulky materials that require controlled lifting.
This jib is available in a range of capacities from 1500 kg up to 5000 kg. The correct option depends on the type of loads being handled and your machine’s lifting capability.
Yes. When attaching a lifting jib to a loader, anti-drop or lock valves must be fitted. In some cases, loader management systems and lift charts may also be required depending on your setup.
